Open-Meteo

Weather Information and several global forecast layers use the Open-Meteo Weather API and Marine Weather API. These services deliver model data used for weather conditions, waves and swell, wind, temperature, clouds, and the upper atmosphere. Forecast samples are interpolated and visually transformed by Global Weather 3D.

NOAA

Ocean Currents uses surface-current data from NOAA CoastWatch. Several atmospheric layers use NOAA GFS model data delivered through Open-Meteo. Global Weather 3D interpolates source grids and changes rendering density and appearance for visualization; those changes do not add scientific precision.

NASA

Global Precipitation uses near-real-time imagery derived from the NASA GPM IMERG product and delivered through NASA GIBS. IMERG is a satellite-based estimate, not a ground observation at every location.

Natural Earth

Map geometry and derived land and coastline resources use Natural Earth public-domain map data. Global Weather 3D modifies source material for globe rendering, terrain styling, and coastline effects.

Apple Weather is not part of the initial free release or the first subscription-stage release and is intentionally not listed as an active data source here. Provider names and links do not imply endorsement of Global Weather 3D.
